The curtains were moving as the night gleamed at me. I was trying to sleep at my relative's place back in Koida, Odisha. I was working at the mines and had an early morning shift. Suddenly, at around 2 AM, I felt like I saw someone behind the curtains. The lights were switched off, but a shadow was visible due to the faint light coming from the corridor light. I got a bit startled and nervous, so I drank some water and tried to go back to sleep. A little later, I could see someone moving all over the place like a black shadow running. Then, I felt someone pushing my body out of the cot and saw a face close to me asking me to wake up. As I looked at the face, it just faded away with the darkness, but I could clearly remember its touch right on my chest. As soon as it was dawn, I woke up and fled from the place. My relatives mentioned a haunted neighborhood that resulted in some weird encounters of a shadow trying to wake up people who are fast asleep. More Stories: Kill: That Was Ju...
